A Message from the School Captains

Hello, we are the school captains here at AGPS, and we're here to talk about the lunchtime clubs. The lunchtime clubs consist of The Green Team, Choir, Speed Cube Fast Play, and Book Club.

First, we're gonna talk about Book Club with Vicki. 

Vicki's Book Club has gone to an incredible start. Taking place on Thursday lunchtimes, students can bring a book and read with a buddy or alone. Weather permitting they can go outside and sit on cushions. 

Secondly, we're going to talk about Choir.

It's on Tuesdays at lunchtime and it is run by Andrea. This is where you can sing and perform songs, which you practice once a week to later perform.

Next, we're going to talk about Speed Cube Fast Play run by Gurpreet.

Speed Cube, Fast Play has gone to an amazing start. This club is all about learning to solve all types of cubes, ranging from 100 cubes to extremely hard cubes.

Last of all is Green Team with Hannah.

Green Team is a student action group, they meet every Wednesday at lunchtime to work on sustainability projects in the school, like reducing rubbish in the yard. They share ideas and learn more about sustainability together through the ReasourceSmart school's program. Stay tuned for news about Green Team's exciting projects later this year. Kids are having Green-tasic time!
