‘Return & Earn’

​To Support The Homeless

(An initiative of the Wagga Youth Festival Participants)

WHAT:

to recycle plastic bottles, fruit boxes, milk cartons and soft drink cans, to care for our environment and earn money to support the homeless.

WHY:

To promote two Catholic Social Teachings - CARE FOR GOD’S CREATION & LIFE AND DIGNITY OF THE HUMAN PERSON

HOW:

We have bought YELLOW recycling bins dedicated to collecting these items, so we can ‘Return and Earn’ money to support a regular BBQ for the homeless in Wagga.

WHERE:

YELLOW recycling bins will be placed outside the Canteen, the Cafe, in the Central Courtyard and on the Oval.

WHEN:

Each recess and lunch, please put your recyclable items in the YELLOW Bins.

Each week we will take the recyclable items to the ‘Return and Earn’ depots.
