Resource Centre NEWS

New fiction and non-fiction books have just arrived and are on display in the Resource Centre this week. They include several series: Percy Jackson five volumes, Erin Hunter’s Warriors, Seekers, Brave Lands and Survivors, R.A Splatt’s Friday Barnes Girl Detective collection, new L.M Montgomery Anne and Emily books and Harry Potter books. There are also more Tim Winton and Lockie Leonard novels and Sarah Dessen novels.
All of these books are on display and waiting to be borrowed, so drop by the Resource Centre and check out these wonderful collections.

The focus of this area is on objects, systems and artifacts. People produce, distribute, use and consume both an enormous quantity and variety of goods and commodities. A considerable proportion of human activity is aimed at providing these products. These range from items that are individually crafted through to those mass produced.
This Unit introduces students to the basic design skills, tools and techniques used in timber technologies. Students will gain an understanding of timber and the applications and appropriate tools and equipment necessary when working with timber.
