Mayoral Breakfast With Amy Li and Jackson Weidemann

On Wednesday 13th June, Amy Li and Jackson Weidermann represented the College at the Mayoral Breakfast held at the Council Chambers. Hosted by Mayor Greg Conkey, students from Wagga secondary schools met to discuss issues affecting the youth of the Riverina. The meeting began with a briefing from the Social Planning Coordinator, Lisa Saffery, who summarised the outcomes from the last breakfast and presented a gap analysis on youth services. Students were then asked to provide feedback outlining the strengths of the Wagga City Council and suggestions of ways youth could be more involved in local events. Amy & Jackson shared feedback from Kildare students and participated in a Q&A session.
