WINDOW DISPLAY

 

The Mayor, Ambassador and Madam Takahashi and other members of the official party were very impressed with the quality of all the window displays.

 

Congratulations to Cowra High School who wonn Best High School.  The works were a culmination of Ms Chant, Ms Vaughan and Mrs Hughes classes ranging from Year 7 through to Year 12. 

 

HAIKU COMPETITION

 

During the recent International Festival of Understanding, Cowra Council ran a haiku writing competition.  We had many entries from Cowra High School and several students performed exceptionally well.  Congratulations to the following students who received a highly commended certificate: Hannah Reid, Zachary Perkins, Tess Roberts and McKenzie Bone. 

 

Congratulations to Lewis McFarland who received 3rd place and Zara McKenzie who received 2nd place in the competition.

Dancers attend Festival dinner

Congratulations to the Cowra High Aboriginal Dance Group who performed at the Festival Dinner on Friday night.  Those who attended the dinner commented on the beautiful performance by the students.
