Art Smart

Congratulations to Kevin Luu (yr 10), Milena Cugalj (yr 10), Megan Fontana (yr 9) and Hanim Kara (yr 9), were the lucky four selected to be part of an intensive 4 day art making workshop for year 9 and 10 talented Visual Artists called ArtSmart, where there were only fifty places available.

This workshop gave these four students the opportunity to extend their art making practice in the expressive form of ceramics. They learnt advanced sculptural techniques and had the opportunity to express themselves through this medium using inspiration from a field trip to the Australian Museum in Sydney. This workshop concluded with an exhibition at Campbelltown Art Gallery where their works were displayed.

Year 6 Visual Arts Gifted  &Talented

Cecil Hills Public School  students have been busy exploring and developing their clay skills. They created little monsters where they learnt about clay properties, pinch pots, tacking and coiling. They thoroughly enjoyed getting their hands dirty and watching their creative ideas come into form.
