Bon appétit!  Year 10 French students marked the end of the term with a cultural and cooking lesson in which they made fondue. The boys prepared and cooked their own cheese fondue and chocolate fondue and of course enjoyed sampling their efforts. This lesson linked in with our unit’s cultural focus on Switzerland as a French-speaking country and popular tourist destination for French people. As well as putting their culinary skills to the test, the boys also photographed and filmed the cooking lesson. To conclude this class project, our budding Year 10 chefs will be recording voice-overs in French to add the finishing touches to their fondue cooking demonstration video.
