Mother's Day Stall

Volunteers Needed!
We are looking for someone (or a small team) to co-ordinate the decorations and assist in setting up on the afternoon / evening of the Saturday 16 June. We are not going overboard with decorations, just a few to get into the feel of the night. If someone has ideas that they can turn into reality, please contact the office. A fun way to get into the mood!
Donations Needed!
We need your support! We are seeking donations (items or services) that we can auction, raffle or give away as prizes at our annual parents' fundraiser.
Do you work for a business or have your own business that may be able to make a donation (large or small)?
All businesses that make a donation can be advertised in the school newsletter and be promoted on the evening. Should you wish to take up this opportunity, please ensure you provide flyers or business cards with your donation.
You might not be able to donate an item, but you might be able to donate your time if you have a skill or provide a service.
A few ideas may be:
- Hair and makeup for a Grade 6 student to use on the night of the 2018 Grade 6 Graduation (usually the last Monday of term 4)
- 1 hour Massage
- Bicycle Service
- 1 hour consultation, such as garden design / interior design
- Have a classic Car? Take someone for a ride.
- Provide a dinner for 2 people
- House Cleaning
- Word processing/desktop publishing
- Baby Sitting
- A makeup lesson
- Lawn mowing
- Hairdressing Cut and Blowave
- IT Advice/set up
- Any new items

All funds raised from this night will go towards the refurbishment of the Grades 3/4 learning space.
All donations can be left at the School Office. Donations would be appreciated by no later than Wednesday 30 May 2018.

Dad's Day Out
The inaugural Dads Day Out Brewery Tour was a great success. The dads spent the day trying out many great beers from the Yarra Valley. The event raised $738 which will pay for a Lego wall and some Lego sets for the STEAM Lab. Although some attendees suggested a quarterly event the PA has decided to go with once a year for now, so the plan is to have another Dad's Day Out Brewery Tour next year. Until then there is always the winery tour in September. Thanks to all those who attended and donated. Thanks to Dean McMahon for helping organise and Len Beattie for driving the bus.”
MPS Private Movie Screening
To be able to run this fun event we require 80 seats sold. If you are thinking of coming along - please get your tickets now. We need 25 more seats filled, otherwise it will be cancelled. It will be a fun night for all the kids to be together with their friends and watch this new release. Order forms available in the office, get them in ASAP!
