THE COAT DRIVE

Dear Students & Parents,

The Wellbeing leaders have organised a coat drive. Please donate coats and blankets that are in good condition to the front office. This will help families in need of coats and blankets. They can be any size and type. We would love you to donate.

The end date is 6 August 2018.

Thank You for contributing,

On the 15th, 16th and 17th of August the Social Justice and Wellbeing Year 6 leaders will be holding a Pink Day.  It will be held over three days with a sausage sizzle on Wednesday afternoon after school and a bake stall and activities on the Thursday & Friday.

Please wear a touch of pink and bring a gold coin donation on one of the three days.

All funds raised will go towards supporting Breast Cancer.

Thankyou.

Kind Regards,

SCHOOL SLEEPOUT

Last month, Mr Flanagan, Miss Orengo and Miss Quinlan went to Papua New Guinea (PNG) and visited two schools in Aitape.

While they were there, they saw first hand the issues that the students from PNG experience everyday.

This year the Social Justice captains have decided to do a school sleepout to raise awareness and money for PNG. This event will be held on Friday the 17th of August. It is available for the Year 5 and 6 students and will be a great experience and a great initiative.

The students participating will sleep in the school hall with nothing but some cardboard, a pillow and a blanket.
