2023 House Swimming Carnival

On Tuesday the 7th of February our students took part in the 2023 House Swimming Carnival. Student attendance was outstanding with high levels of participation across all events. Our sport captains did a wonderful job of running a number of novelty events for all students to get involved in, as well as our talented VM students who set up numerous land based events which were a lot of fun! It was also great to see our houses get involved with their team chants, something I am looking forward to hearing a lot more of at our Athletics Carnival on the 15th of March!

After a big day of competition, one house reigned supreme and took home the cup. Congratulations to our 2023 House Swimming Carnival Champions, WATTLE HOUSE! 

Final placings:

• 1st - Wattle
• 2nd - Jacaranda
• 3rd - Waratah
• 4th - Banksia

Congratulations to all students who won events. They will now form our Brentwood Swimming Team who will compete against our local schools at the Monash Division event on Tuesday the 7th of March. 

Thank you very much to all students who attended the day and got in the pool. The perfect weather and great atmosphere was a pleasure to be around. Now let's start getting excited for athletics!
