Roxburgh Homestead Primary School embraces diversity so that all students are challenged to achieve their best. Roxburgh Homestead Primary School offers a positive and nurturing environment for students from diverse backgrounds. Our experienced and caring teachers provide a comprehensive curriculum including a broad range of specialist subjects. Our school enjoys the advantages of a community with wide diversity in the cultural background of its residents. Student population is made up of many different cultures and we celebrate the rich experiences that this brings.
At Roxburgh Homestead Primary School, ensuring the safety and well-being of our children is our top priority. As we strive for continuous improvement, we are in the process of revising our Child Safe Policy for the year 2023. Your input and feedback are invaluable to us in this endeavor. A school lead for child safety should have sufficient status and authority, including leadership support and the ability to direct other staff (where appropriate), to undertake the role effectively. Roxburgh Homestead Primary School’s Safe Officer is our assistant principal, Patrick Lynch.

Our SunSmart policy has been developed to ensure that through the combined efforts of parents and staff, all students attending Roxburgh Homestead Primary School are protected from skin damage caused by the ultraviolet rays of the sun. This policy is to be implemented throughout the year but the wearing of SunSmart hats will be compulsory in Terms 1 and 4.
