Greetings from Shaun

As another week comes to end, it has been lovely to reflect on how positive the start to the school year has been. Parents, carers, students andd teachers have been coming to see me about how well everyone is settling in to the routines of school this year. Thanks to everyone for all working together to support our students in this.

School Council Elections

We have now filled our four vacancies from the parent category. Thank you and congratulations to the following successful nominees:

  • Joanne Pitt
  • Thomas Payen-Payne
  • Christian Scallen
  • Lucy Sinclair

I would also like to welcome Bale Micovski and Rebecca Garrow who nominated to join the School Council as the Teacher Representatives.

As very special thank-you to all those whose time on school council has come to an end. We thank-you for your commitment and dedication to the school.

We look forward to our first meeting of the newly elected council on the 15th of March.

Full time Preps

Our Preps finished their first full week this week, after completing all of their start of year assessment interviews that have been taking place on a Wednesday.

Thank-you Olivia

As many of you may be aware, Olivia finishes up  this week after kindly agreeing to step in to teaching 5/6C for the first half of term one. I know many of you will join me in thanking Olivia for the amazing job she has done this year and wish her all the best in her travels.

I would also like to take this oppurtunity to announce that Nick Barclay will commence with us on Monday and will be teaching 5/6C until the end of the term. We warmly welcome Nick into the Northcote Primary School community.
