MUSIC NEWS
In Music News this week, Preps danced and sang songs, and played with shakers. The 1/2s sang and played the beat and rhythm on shakers and tapping sticks. The 3/4s played ukuleles and learned an echoing chant. The 5/6s played a Spanish song on the ukuleles, and sang and moved to reggae music.
CHOIR
On Tuesday there was a great turn up for the Choir auditions, thank you everyone who came. The first Choir rehearsal will be on Tuesday at lunch.
INSTRUMENTAL PROGRAM
If you are interested in your child having lessons to learn to play the flute, or violin, or piano here at school, please pick up a form from the front office, and return it as soon as possible.
MUSIC AWARDS
Everyone worked very well in Music this week, and choosing this week’s awards was very hard. However, after much thought, this week’s Music Awards go to Tilly Tosetti in 3/4A for helping other students with ukulele, and Jordie Alexander in 5/6B for his excellent work in Music. Well done!
