Year 9 Future Makers

2023 Program

 

Initially the Year 9 Future Maker Program will be delivered within the year nine curriculum, during timetabled classes at school and surrounding areas. The program then involves a two week residential/journey component where students attend Bogong and undertake a five-day expedition in the Alpine National Park.  The purpose of the program is to develop future ready young people who consider their global footprint, the opportunities before them to make a difference and build their preferred future.

Gorge Walk

 

This Thursday (23rd Feb) the Year nine students will be attending the first session organised by Outdoor School-Bogong as an introduction to the 2023 Future Makers Program.  This will be occur from 1pm and will be a walk to The Gorge.  Students should make sure they wear sturdy shoes for the walk, a hat and water bottle.  An event has been posted on Compass, please consent by Thursday.  

Parent Info Evening

 

Also on Thursday 23rd February at 7pm, there will be a parent information evening regarding the Future Makers Program in the Jessie Hollonds Studios for all parents and students in Year 9.  Please come along to collect important information regarding the program.
