STEM – ROBOTICS FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (Semester 2)
“I hope that by 2050 the entire solar system will have been explored and mapped by flotillas of tiny robotic craft.” - Martin Rees
The First Lego League is a nationally run competition that helps develop your problem-solving skills. The competition will allow you to use the skills gained in the introduction to robotics course and apply them to specific challenges. These STEM based problem solving challenges require you to design, build and program a LEGO robot that completes missions issued by LEGO. The culmination of all your efforts will lead to your participation in the First Lego League competition that is held at Curtin University. The skills learnt in this course will enhance your success in WACE Subjects such as Computer Science. In ever-changing job market that values automation, collaboration, problem-solving and technology this course is a must.
