Highlights of the Week

Cross Country
Well done to all the children who participated in the cross country last week at Billabong Park....
This week, on Wednesday 25th May, Holy Saviour had 22 students from Grades 4-6, representing the School at the District Cross Country. The event was held at Jells Park and we were fortunate to have sunny weather conditions. The 10 year old boys and girls ran 2kms whilst the 11-12 year old boys and girls ran 3kms. It was a fantastic effort by all students as each and everyone crossed the finish line.
The top 12 runners from each race qualified for the Divisional Cross Country to be held next Wednesday 1st June. Congratulations to Miller Thiedeman who placed 1st and Tom Greene who placed 11th for the 10 year old boys and Devassy Pynadath who placed 8th in the 11 year old boys. These students will again represent our School at Divisional next week. We are very proud to report Holy Saviour won the Proportional Trophy on the Day and a great day was had by all.
