District Cross Country Report

On Thursday 5th May around 50 students participated in the District Cross Country at Reedy Reserve, Hampton Park. Sadly the weather was not very kind but everybody got on with it and completed the day. Every student who competed should be extremely proud of their efforts and desire to complete the event in such conditions.  Our school came 3rd overall from the 8 school that competed. Our best effort yet!!

We had some exceptional performances with 11 students qualifying for next round at Pakenham on June 1st

U9/10 Girls – Maddi T – 6th and Ashveer B 10th

U9/10 Boys – Brodie W – 1st and Kai S -10th

U11 Girls – Isabella S – 6th

U11 Boys – Blake D -3rd, Ryder C 4th, Guntas B- 8th and Chanul R 10th

U12/13 Girls – Charity S – 8th

U12/13 Boys – Max B – 8th

A massive thank you to Mrs Hunter, Mrs Squires, Mrs Kerr and Mr Hamilton who attended to ensure the students could compete in the day, I know they all appreciated a nice shower when they got home. 

Thank you also to Mr Sharp and Mr Lacey who came by to cheer on the students.
