Junior School Council 

Congratulations again to all Junior School Council Representative. It was great to everyone receive their badge at assembly at the end of Term 1 or at the first assembly of Term 2, last week.

JSC events in Term 2

The Junior School Council met on Monday at lunchtime and plans for events being held this term have already begun. 

The two events this term are the –

• Social Service Day - Wednesday 26th May (Week 6)  Fundraising for our World Vision child, John (from Kenya)
• NAIDOC Celebration Day - Wednesday 23rd June (Week 10)

John is our World Vision Sponsor Child and BPPS started sponsoring him on the 30th September 2016.

For the day on Wednesday 26th May, students are asked to dress in - 

• the colours of the Kenyan Flag (black, red and green), or 
• in his school colours (blue and yellow) or 
• in something connected to Kenya. 

Leading up to the day, all students will learn more about John and where he comes from. We are also hoping that on Wednesday 26th May, each class will send him a letter through the World Vision Website. 

JSC meeting dates for the rest of Term 2:

• Monday 17th May (Week 5)
• Monday 7th June (Week 8)
