Term 1 Week 7 PBIS Report

It has been wonderful to see students showing respect to our library.  Please continue to follow the success criteria in the library - It is one of the most important rooms in our school as we ALL use it.

The new blitz for Week 8 and 9 will  be ‘Playing by the rules”

Each recess and lunch, there are many games that are played.  It is very important to gather as a group before the game to talk about the rules.  This is one of the most important things to do which can help you and your friends enjoy yourselves.  If things are getting out of hand or there are people confused, all you need to do is call everyone in and go through the rules again.  You can even call a teacher over and they can help out.

We would like to congratulate all the students who are finding something to do at recess and lunch.  We have many activities that you can involve yourself in if you are struggling to find something to do.

Term 1 Week 7 - PBIS Student Award

Our PBIS student of the Week comes from the  3/4  Area.

For the last 2 weeks, our PBIS blitz has been ‘respecting our library’.  Nerissa is very thankful for this student and for the help he always offers with some of the jobs that it takes to make a library work - putting away books correctly and making sure that the books are facing the correct way.  A huge thankyou for showing respect to our library.

Well done Macabe Smith, you are our PBIS Student of the Week!!

Term 1 Week 9 PBIS Report

It was fantastic to see so many students ‘Playing by the rules’  Please ensure that you are a playing any game, inside or outside in a positive friendly way.

Our Blitz for the last week of school will be “Cleaning up after yourselves”

When you are in the classroom, it is important to put away classroom items when you have finished with them.  It is also important to keep your work area tidy.

When we are outside playing, you need to leave the area as you found it - put away any sports equipment that you used.  If you are playing in the sandpit, it is your responsibility to put the equipment in the wheel barrow.

Another important part of cleaning up is keeping our school yard tidy.  Even though the rubbish may not be yours, you are showing responsibility by picking up rubbish and putting it in the bin.

The winners for the House Team competition for Term 1has been very close and it’s awesome to see so many students showing their PBIS qualities.

Miss Wong and the 1/2 staff think that this student is delightful who is always following each of our 4 PBIS values. He is respectful when playing games both within the classroom and outside in the yard and he listens to instructions of a game and completes tasks perfectly. Thanks for being a wonderful PBIS student.
