Science

In Science we will be looking at Biological Science by exploring Desert Survivors.

This unit provides opportunities for children to develop an understanding of how any form of life could survive in extreme temperatures and dryness of a desert environment. 

Inquiry (Health)

We will continue to reinforce the Positive Start program with a unit of study based on the development of key concepts for each cohort.

Preventative Health

In this unit children explore what makes a healthy relationship with their peers. They discuss protective factors including a sense of belonging, personal empowerment, bonds of friendships, getting help from friends and the community to promote mental health and well-being. We will investigate how celebrating differences strengthens the community.
