Global Studies

Hello families

This semester, students in Years 3-6 will have a one hour Global Studies lesson each week, where our focus is Spanish culture.

This term, the 3/4 classes will be learning all about Spain. We will learn facts including where Spain is, population, size, major cities, landmarks, currency and flag as well as other things we are interested in, including, native animals, famous people and key moments in history.

In Term 1, students in 5/6 will be learning about other countries around the world that speak Spanish. We will learn interesting facts about the countries and complete a research task on a country of our choice.
