Farewell Year 6

It has been a very busy term for Year 6. We welcomed Mrs Murphy and Miss Magill into our teaching team, and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know one another as we worked our way through the jam-packed weeks. We enjoyed several engaging theatre performances, our Teddy Bear Picnic afternoon, our exciting Step Up Day, our Primary Triathlon, the Early Years Nativity evening, and many, many more classroom activities and investigations.

As the term draws to a close, we are taking the time to reflect, and slow down as our experience in the Primary School is now coming to an end. For many of us, our Mount Carmel journey began all the way back in Kinder and we have come to know the College as ‘home’. The relationships, accomplishments, and memories we have made over our time here, whether that time be long or short, will be carried with us as we transition from primary to secondary, wherever that may be.

A wonderful moment of the term just gone was when we came together and acknowledged our achievements and celebrated the year that’s been with a memorable Year 6 Assembly. We reflected on some of our favourite memories, and even Miss Reid and Daphne made an appearance to help celebrate this special occasion.

The Year 6 team would like to thank all students, parents and carers for their support throughout the school year. We wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year and your journey into Year 7.
