Join us at our Christmas community picnic concert

The annual Christmas community picnic concert is an opportunity for St Anne's students to share the gift of singing and joy. School of Wonder (SOW) children and representatives from the School of Innovation (SOI) and School of Possibilities (SOP) will perform a number of Christmas carols to get us into the Christmas spirit on the evening of Thursday, December 8 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. We are inviting all families to bring along a picnic dinner and something to sit on. The concert will be held on the north-east lawn area of the college.

SOW children and representatives from SOI and SOP have been creating various items which will be for sale at a stall from 5:00pm to 5:30pm at the picnic concert, with all proceeds going to charities that support our most vulnerable community members. This will be a cash-only stall with small-value notes appreciated.

Please note, there will be no food or drinks available for purchase at the event, apart from icy-poles being sold by the St Anne's Sports Association as a fundraising activity. This event is strictly an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free event. The consumption of  alcohol and any form of drugs is strictly prohibited on school premises.

Please donate to Giving Tree Gift Card Drive

Each year at St Anne’s College during Advent we like to focus on doing something to support those within our community who need our support.

This year we would like to support the St Vincent de Paul Society to provide gift cards for people within our community in need. If you can and wish to donate, please provide a gift card. Please note, gift cards containing suppliers of alcohol are not accepted. This is applicable also to the multi-store gift cards.

Gift cards can be sent to school with students and given to college reception staff. In the last week of school, the gift cards will be given to St Vinnie's for distribution before Christmas.

What a wonderful way to share the spirit, joy and hope of the Christmas season.

Any queries can be directed to the college's Community Partnerships Coordinator, Tara McGrath, at tmcgrath@sackialla.catholic.edu.au
