Out and about- Year 10 Photography

Year 10 photography students were out and about in the world, once again, to develop their photography skills.

This time students went to Melbourne Zoo and were focusing on wildlife photography. This involved them having to adapt to the movements of different animals from the swinging monkeys to the stomping elephants to the slithering snake.

Students worked to adjust their camera settings accordingly to capture the perfect shot.

We were blessed with one of Melbourne’s only warm days providing the perfect weather for walking around the different Zoo areas and enjoying a nice lunch outside. It was interesting the different types of animals that exist in our world but, it was the Emperor Tamarin Monkey, with his grand moustache, that caught everyones' attention.

Whilst walking around the Zoo students also thought it would be fun to note which animal aligned with different teachers. It was easy to point out the tall giraffe as our wellbeing man Trent, whilst Mr Biffin was seen as a gorilla for always walking around with a chill vibe and Mrs Spiller- Ball as the sweet gentle meerkat.

It was an excellent day filled with smiles and laughter.
