Classroom Agreements

We have high expectations for learning and behaviour at Miners Rest Primary School and we are focusing on setting up for success in 2020.

All of our students have experienced a positive start to school with their new teacher and classmates.

To ensure that all of the members of our classroom communities are able to learn and grow in a safe, supportive and positive learning environment, collaborative classroom agreements have been developed.

The children have enjoyed having a voice in developing these agreements that will support their learning throughout 2020.

Within the next week, you will receive a copy of your child’s classroom agreement to further support our home/school partnerships.

ConnectEd

Thank you to the participants who attended ConnectEd this morning. We had a great morning of learning and sharing. We are looking forward to tonight’s session. We would like to welcome anyone to join if you have registered, or if you haven’t, you are most welcome to come along. Just see the ladies in the office. Free child care is provided. Session times are 9.30am-11.00am and an evening session is provided 5.30pm-7.00pm every Wednesday this Term. Sessions are fluid and you can come to either morning or evening sessions. Next week we will be continuing Oral Language. The following three modules will be Reading, Writing and Numeracy each including two sessions. Hope to see you there!
