Principal's Message

Term 4 here we come!

As we begin another term I would like to welcome everyone back to school. I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable break and I look forward to another productive and rewarding term. We have had many of our 2020 Kindergarten parents come in and complete their enrolment forms.  I would still love to meet with any parents who would like to bring their child to our school for next year.  Please let us know so we can ensure there is a place for your child.

A number of parents have expressed that they would like to help in classes.  We value having our parents and community members coming into our classrooms to support the learning of all students. To ensure that each stage receives support please see Mrs Herring who will support you with the guidelines around parent helpers at Brooke Avenue.

Changes to Asthma guidelines have come into place this term. Previously paper work and Asthma plans were a WHS requirement for any child with Asthma. Currently, Asthma plans and paperwork is  required for students that use a preventative at school. If you require any clarification on this, please come into our office and our lovely staff will be able to assist you.

Each year Planned Maintenance takes place with the aim of upgrading our school. Currently, the netball court is being re-surfaced, classrooms are being painted and the staff and Support Unit car parks have been upgraded. We had hoped that these works would be completed in the school holidays, unfortunately, the work is still being undertaken and there are changes to the playground.

Our goal is to provide an engaging and safe play environment for our students. We are working closely with our Asset Management Unit (AMU) to replace the equipment that was removed earlier this year.
