Swimming Carnival

The annual Killara High School Swimming Carnival was held on Monday February 3 at Warringah Aquatic Centre. All students from Stage 4, participants from Years 9-12, along with the Sports Council and Prefects attended the day.

It was once again an excellent day where all competitors displayed fantastic skill and ability. Students wore house colours and the Prefects and Sports Council demonstrated their wonderful ability to dress up. The Prefects ran a lolly jar guessing competition with all funds going funds to bush fire relief. All students also had the opportunity to participate in the Lemming Race, a fun event where students completed swimming laps for house points. It was great to see so many students participate in this event. The Prefects  finished the day with the last race, a fitting end for their last swimming carnival.

Well done Caringa, who won the carnival with an impressive 853 points. Kimba came 2nd with 793 points, Doongara 3rd with 729 points and Mundara 4th with 630 points.

Congratulations to those students who were Age Champions.
