Celebrations

Whole School Celebrations

Children's Day is a time Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities alongside all Australians, celebrate the strengths and culture of our children.  It is an opportunity for us to show our support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, as well as learn about the crucial impact that culture, family and community play in the life of every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child.  This year's theme is “We are the Elders of tomorrow, hear our voice”.

It has been wonderful to see everyone at school engaging in different activities, arts and games.

"Aboriginality is import to me as it makes me feel more connected to my country and family. I was really happy to celebrate National Children’s day today with my school. I love that I can share more about my culture so everyone can have a better understanding".
