K Parrots

Hi Everyone!

We have been working hard in K Parrots this term!

Learning our phonemes, decoding and blending in our reading, remembering to leave spaces and use capitals in our writing, counting and identifying our numbers, making groups and patterns, hefting and adding, learning about our country and our local area, creating masterpieces during art and craft time, marching whilst we recite Nursery Rhymes, and then trying to find the time to have some fun playing with all the really cool things in our classroom!

GEE it’s tough being a Kindergarten Kid!!!

We have really enjoyed looking at a book called ‘Piranha’s Don’t Eat Bananas’.

It is about a piranha named Brian. He likes eating fruit…especially bananas. All of the other piranhas eat other things…!! You should read it because the things the other piranhas eat are really funny. We love this book because it makes us laugh!!
