The big news in the Grade 1/2 Classes was the Grade 2 Sleep In!
18 Students spent the night at school, camping out in the classrooms. We set up our beds and had some family fun outside while our BBQ dinner was cooked ( big thank you to Kerrie for helping with this). After dinner we said goodbye to families and got ready to go for an evening walk around Beaufort Lake playing a game of SPOTTO, and we were surprised with Icy poles when we returned to school.
After we got changed into our PJ's, we settled in to enjoy some fresh popcorn and watched ENCANTO. There was a lot of loud and wonderful singing and very creative dancing.
We brushed our teeth and went to bed. There was even a double visit from the Tooth Fairy!
In the morning we had breakfast, got dressed and packed up our beds ready to go home.
