School Leaders

Congratulations to our four Senior School Student Leaders, Abi, Oscar, Adelia and Edie who have completed their first term in their roles this year. Below I have included the role descriptions they were given at the start of the year and a short profile of Abi & Oscar. Next Term I will include profiles for Adelia and Edie. 

 

The School Student Leaders - Role Descriptions

  • presenting at school events
  • represent the school at events ( MACS Mass)
  • actively promote the school values Community, Excellence and Respect at all times
  • Follow the SRC Charter

  • Co lead the Leaders SRC Meeting

Leaders and SRC Meeting

  • school Leaders are expected to be role models in their behaviour and school participation and demonstrate the school expectations
  •        Follow directions 
  •        Speak appropriately
  •        Move safely
  •        Care for all property
  •        Listen to the speaker
  •        Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself

As well as this they are expected to:

  • participate in the School Leaders Workshop
  • support the Junior SRC in their class meetings
  • lead in the organisation of the Mini Fete with the SRC
  • promote  and participate  school action team

Abi

When did you start at Trinity and who was your first teacher?

I started in Prep 2016 and my teacher was Ms Burkinshaw

What has been one highlight of your time at Trinity?

I think it has been learning will all of my friends that I have made.

What hobbies or sports are you involved in?

I do Dance every Monday and I love it. I do Pilates on Wednesday.

What Secondary School are you going to?

Next year I am hoping to go to St Mary’s College. 

Tell me something interesting about you.  (Maybe a hidden talent or an amazing place you have been to ?

Something people might not know about me is that I went to Vanuatu and while I was snorkeling I lost my tooth. 

 

Oscar

When did you start at Trinity and who was your first teacher?

I started in 2016 in Prep. My teacher was Ms Trapani

What has been one highlight of your time at Trinity?

My biggest highlight so far has been participating in Interschool Sports. 

What hobbies or sports are you involved in?

In school I am in the Pen Pals Club and outside of school I am in a different Pen Pals Club. 

What Secondary School are you going to?

Next year I am hoping to go to Xavier or St Mary’s College

Tell me something interesting about you.  (Maybe a hidden talent or an amazing place you have been to ?

I am a self taught Gymnast. I even taught myself to do a back walkover.
