Our current focus in Physical Education sessions over the coming weeks is in readying our students for our annual whole school Athletics Carnival held at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve.

This year the event will take place on Thursday 31st March and is a fun filled day where we have the opportunity to come together as a whole school community and perform Athletic based activities in our houses.

 In our sport sessions, we have been focusing on accurate and safe performance movements in the events for long jump, shot put, discus, relay and hurdles and identifying body positioning for performance outcomes.

                                                        CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!!!!

We will be requiring parent volunteers for the upcoming Athletics day on Thursday 31st March. Each year we appreciate all your help with setting up and running events on the day. Please email me if you are available once again to help out and I will contact you with more details. It will be a wonderful opportunity to come together again as a school community.
