With the end of the term just a week away I cannot believe how quick Term One has gone.  Thank you to the terrific bunch of people we have in the community group for starting the year off as best as we could.

Our next community group meeting will be held on the 5th April via Zoom.

Fundraising

Thank you to everyone who has donated some items for the Easter Raffle. The more we get the happier the prize winners will be and the more prizes we can hand out during the drawn.

If you would like more raffle tickets please call into the office as there is a few spare books available. All raffle books and money is to be returned next Tuesday 5th April. We will draw the raffle at around 1pm on the last day of term.

The Mother’s Day Stall is on Friday 6th May. Children will have access to the stall throughout the day in their classroom groups. There may be an opportunity after school to purchase leftover items, we will let you know via PAM.

Children are asked to bring up to $10 only. Gifts will range from $1 – $10, allowing students to pick from a range of options.

To make it a successful event we are asking all families for donations, either handmade or brought which will be used to be sold at the stall. All donations to be dropped into the office by Monday 2nd of May

Some ideas for gifts: little plants, baked goodies, bath salts/bombs, socks, candles and diffusers, mugs, chocolates/lollies, beauty products, stationary, jams and chutneys, jewellery and other accessories.

If you are interested in helping in the lead up to or on the day of the stall please let the Office know.

Sports

Netball 

Training has begun for the Netball. This is taking place on school ground each Wednesday 3:45 – 4:45pm.

Soccer

We have submitted our teams in to SJSA.  We are still short in our U/8’s but are hopeful we can make this work. Our U7 and U8 teams need coaches and team managers.  Without these we will not be able to participate, so if you are interested please contact Matt on 0417 590 564.  The first games will be held on the 30th April.  Training days/times are yet to be confirmed.
