Principal's Report
Welcome to term two, 2022
Welcome back everyone! I trust you all enjoyed a well earned rest over the term & Easter break.
As the new COVID-19 normal evolves, please remain mindful of the school environment and requirements. I circulated an email Sunday evening with the main adjustments for schools.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the school for clarification.
Yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful and fitting ANZAC commemorative service. Our Year 5/6 team of staff and students put together a wonderful acknowledgement of one of our most important national events.
Thank you to the many community members who were able to attend the 11:30am service, we appreciate your support.
I'm looking forward to seeing a huge audience for our school official opening this Friday at 10am.
The official opening will be held in Kim barne Nitji, with all current and past school community members most welcome, as well as the broader community.
I hope you all manage to enjoy viewing students in some activities from 11am also.
Also, in order to operate a child safe recess, we will place an announcement over the PA for all guests to depart the school grounds at 11:50am to allow a 12noon recess for students.
The first of two, term two school tours is scheduled for next Wednesday 4 May at 9:00am.
All prospective 2023 enrolments are welcome to join the 30min tour. There will be a Q&A session, as well as classroom observations.
Our second school tour is on offer on Wednesday 8th June at 9:00.
Please register your interest at our office, on 5334 6328.
I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
