Official Opening 

MRK-6 Grand Opening

This Friday, April 29 (this Friday) at 10am, we will be celebrating the official opening of our school expansion.  

At the conclusion of our formalities, parents and the community are warmly invited to explore our new school and participate in some fun learning activities with the students. They will be working in multi-age groups on a range of engaging learning tasks throughout the school.  Parents will be informed as to exactly where their child will be working on Thursday, April 28, via a note home.

Depending upon the timely arrival of the official party, we expect the assembly to conclude at 10.45 am. Teachers will move students to their learning spaces and parents will be able to observe and participate from 11am. 

We respectfully ask that all visitors leave the school premises by 12pm (a friendly reminder announcement will be provided) to allow the students to have a break outside.

We will be selling personalised bricks for individuals or families, to mark their place in history. The bricks will form part of a pathway around an historic part of the school, for all to see in the future. More information will be available from Friday, and there will be plenty of time to purchase the bricks, even if you are unable to make it to the Grand Opening.
