HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY EVENT    Mrs Angela Mason

On Thursday the 7th of April, all students in Years 3 to 6 participated in the St Mary’s

House Cross Country. This was the first time, in a very long time, we have run this event. It was a fantastic experience for all!  We were even treated to a fly over from the Roulettes to begin our event!

A special thank you to all of the parents who helped us out on the course, without them the event would not have been such a success.

Congratulations to Green house who won the event with a score of 386 points!

We look forward now to some extra training and representing St Mary’s at the Holt District Cross Country Event on the 13th of May at Bald Hill Park in Clayton.

HOCKEY CLINIC (Prep-Year 2)     Mrs Chris Kidman P-2 Physical Education

Today the students in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 participated in a Hockey Clinic run by our wonderful parent Edwina Lie Olsen.  Edwina works for Powerhouse St Kilda Hockey Club.  A number of students from St Mary’s already are part of this club and demonstrated their skills today in our Hockey Clinic.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the Clinic and learnt many new skills through games and activities. They learnt how to hold the Hockey stick correctly and dribble the ball.

If your child is interested, please contact Edwina through the brochure below.
