Dear Parents and Friends,

 

I look forward to this evening’s parent forum, for those who are able to attend. This session is being jointly organised by the School Council along with staff and Catholic Education Sandhurst staff.  We strongly value the partnership between parents and the school, and given the challenges, over the last two years, it would be great to see you there!

A reminder that students will finish at 2:15 pm next Friday, the last day of Term 1.

 

Watch This Space!

Last week at our staff meeting we looked at recent feedback from parents and staff to plan some possible future directions. Some of the actions that arose from this meeting include:

  • Learning Walks
  • Learning Expo’s
  • Weekly Class Operational Newsletters
  • Termly Class Curriculum Newsletters 

Given the amount of information in this week’s newsletter, particularly in relation to the Golden Horseshoe Festival, we will share specific details at the beginning of next term.

 

ANZAC Day Parade

Please join us for the 11:00 am service and march on Monday 25th April to commemorate ANZAC day. Any students who are able to attend and would like to represent St. Joseph’s in the march are asked to wear school uniforms and meet the staff at the Honey Shop at 10:30 am.

 

Golden Horseshoe ArtWork Display

Check out the wonderful work of Jodie Cuskelly and our students at the Lantern market in the Chinese Gardens during the festival. Jodie and the students have prepared a giant Chinese dragon and lanterns with a New Year message.

2023 Enrolments

A reminder that enrolment packs for 2023 are now available in the office. Please contact Jo in the office if you would like to organise a tour.

 

Sushi Lunch Orders- Change to Ordering

Please note that from next term all Sushi orders will need to be in at the school office by 3:00 pm on Wednesday for delivery on Thursday.

This is due to an increase in trade.
