Values and Christian Service| Clubs
Middle School students have been enjoying doing their clubs for Values and Christian Service on Wednesday in Periods 5 and 6 over the past three weeks. VACS clubs give students a chance to try new activities, bond with different students and sometimes get out of their comfort zone.
This term students had a choice of:
Year Seven
Hockey, Netball or Zine Makin, while Baudin students are doing Service Learning.
Year Eight
Cooking, Craft, Drone Club, Golf, Photography, Rowing or Upcycled Paper Craft.
Year Nine
Dance, Fishing, Minecraft, Zentangle or going to the Pump Track.
Each term these clubs will change around and students cannot do the same club twice in a year. They are great fun and it is nice to do something different in the middle of the week.
Year Seven Excursion
With the postponement of camp, the Year Seven students will be going on an Outdoor Excursion on Tuesday next week. Students will be walking the Luke Pen trail along the Kalgan River and going on the Kalgan Queen river boat tour. This tour is a fantastic experience and students will hear all about the history and geography of the river that is at our doorstep. They will finish with a BBQ lunch at Emu Point.
