Year 12 Ending Well

The final week of formal learning  in classes for our Year 12s culminated in our traditional Pink Day - a day to celebrate learning.  The day commenced with a beautiful breakfast, tables decorated with flowers, a carnation for every student, motivational cards, music, photos of our year in a  slideshow, visits from teachers, photos, and a general happy mood to start the final day before SwotVac Week.  Thank you to Jen Southern and  Natalie Finney  for planning and decorating, and La Cucina for catering.

The Year 12s were amazingly decked out in pink ribbons, glitter, crazy hats, and costumes, and their  tables were brimming with shared lunches under a canopy of pink balloons, streamers and tinsel.  Ella Robertson, with her hand-made tinsel costume creation, won the day, and her balloon arch table scooped the pool for creativity.  The day was celebratory, ending in the pool jump and cheer.

Congratulations, Year 12s, on ending well.

After the festivities, the students settled into a week of study and tutorials and a calm, focused first fortnight of External Exams.  I would like to commend Year 12s on their composure, self-discipline, and 'can do' attitude to completing their final year of learning.
