Aitken College Giving Tree

The Aitken College Giving Tree is a wonderful opportunity for our community to share our resources with those who might otherwise miss out at Christmas. The restrictions of COVID-19 have made this look a bit different this year. We are again partnering with Lentara Uniting Care in Broadmeadows. They will be preparing Christmas food hampers to give to those who might otherwise miss out on a good Christmas meal. You can donate non-perishable food items to help with these hampers.

From Wednesday 4 November, the Giving Tree will be placed in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre foyer however, the donated food items need to be taken upstairs to Rev. Vaughn’s office.

In the past, we have helped many families who struggle to provide for their children at Christmas time and we do this in partnership with Lentara Uniting Care in Broadmeadows. The Giving Tree will be extremely significant for many families that are struggling due to financial strain, especially this year. We all know how special the giving and receiving of gifts at Christmas is for families, even though it will look a bit different this year. We thank you in advance for your support.
