IPS Parents & Friends Association (PFA) 

Coordinator nominations for 2021/2022 called for.

 

The PFA is a volunteer group composed of members of the school community and members of the IPS staff.

It is a supportive, friendly group, whose aim is to create opportunities for the school community to come together and connect in enjoyable ways. Any profits made from the PFA events are utilized by the school, for the benefit of IPS students.

Some examples of PFA run events are: The Welcome Picnic, Mother’s Day Stall and Breakfast, Trivia night, School Disco, Father’s Day Stall and Breakfast, Foundation Morning Tea. 

The role of the PFA coordinator is voluntary and can include:

  • Organizing communication of PFA meetings to members & the school community
  • Chairing PFA meetings
  • Coordinating or participating in the running of some PFA events
  • Speaking at the December Foundation Information evening, about the role of the PFA at IPS and inviting any members of the parent body to join
  • PFA Coordination for a two-year term

Nominations for the role of IPS Coordinator for 2021/2022 are now open.
