Final Week for Year 12

This week, our Year 12 students celebrated their final week of secondary school and much fun was had by all!

On Tuesday, students took part in the annual tradition of uniform signing and we were able to formally recognise the students’ hard work and persistence in the whole school assembly which was live streamed to the rest of the school in their classrooms. The 2020 prefects handed over the reins to their 2021 counterparts in the official welcoming of next year’s future leaders. We were also pleased to hear the winner of the 2020 House Cup – congratulations Frazer! The afternoon was complete with the students’ final precession to their lockers as the jazz band played.

Wednesday saw the final day of classes for our students. The ‘through the decades’ dress up day enabled students to raid their parents’ wardrobes and pull out some incredible “fashion”, that made us all laugh! Wednesday came to a close with many tears shed on the quad as the students gathered to hear the final 3.15pm bell for the last time.

With a mixture of emotion, Thursday arrived, and our Year 12s were able to finally let their hair down! Students gathered on the oval for a pre-packed breakfast bag of goodies while dancing to some great tunes organised by the cohort. A special treat from the staff included a Mr Whippy van making an entrance and offering gelati and ice creams for all.

The Senior School team would like to thank the Year 12s for being such an amazing group of students who have made us all very proud this year. We wish you all the very best with your upcoming exams and are looking forward to seeing you over the coming weeks as you move into the next, final phase of the academic year.
