BookView Crew Literacy Reading Update:

Halloween is becoming increasingly popular in Australia and this was proved during a special Halloween-themed Literacy Reading session led by the BookView Crew in the library on Wednesday the 30th of October.

Over 70 students, from preps, grade 1, 2 and 3, turned up to participate in a half hour session on Halloween art and craft activities - setting a new attendance record. While it was really challenging for the Crew to accomodate everyone in the library, participants had fun making vampire masks, colouring in pumpkins and filling out activity books.

In previous weeks, the BookView Crew held other special occasion Literacy activities like Fathers Day, Footy Day and Superhero Day, which were also well attended. Thank you to all those who came to the reading sessions! By Prisha Year 6
