Hello Mount View Community,

What a wintery week!  Good for the plants in any case, and hopefully we're getting the rain out of the way for the carnival next Friday!

One thing that has constantly disheartened me in my time here, is the lack of courtesy and safety that some show each other on the roads.

Particularly in Lori Place and Shepherds Road, it's common to see people parking in the wrong places, double-parking, driving on the wrong side of the road, and driving dangerously with all the children running around.  

I understand, we are all incredibly busy.  But this sort of reckless behaviour can have huge impacts on other families, for the sake of a few minutes.

I deeply thank the majority who look out for one another and show kindness to others in our community, and hope that others can follow this example that we are striving for.
