Creating the 'Wollert Way'

What a privileged position we find ourselves in at WPS. As a new school, we have the opportunity to create something that is truly amazing, a custom built school focused on the needs and aspirations of an entirely new community. Very few educators will get to experience starting a school from the turn of soil. This will also be unique for most of our founding students and families.  

The buzz that opening our school has brought cannot be described. It is a feeling, a vibe, a way of being. This has affectionately been coined the 'Wollert Way'. The 'Wollert Way' is something that you will hear throughout our school when we are acknowledging and celebrating growth and success but also to remind us of times we may be moving away from our vision.

OUR VISION

Wollert Primary School’s vision is to empower all students to be the best they can be through the knowledge that they are unique, able and belong.

We believe that all children have a place and space in our school. We are committed to working together to ensure that every child's character, personality and spark is not only valued but used to ignite the potential in them as learners.

OUR MISSION

Wollert Primary School’s mission is to be a school that provides an inclusive, inspiring and joyous learning environment where students are empowered to seize opportunities that help them achieve lifelong aspirations.

OBJECTIVE

Wollert Primary School’s objective is to grow the minds and character unique to each child, developing ‘I CAN’ and ‘I WILL’ attitudes

If our school isn't somewhere that every child can dream and hope, then we are doing something wrong. We don't ever want to box any of our students or put a lid on their spark. Instead we want our students to leave us knowing they can do anything with the right tools, support and a passionate heart.

Our values are our behaviours, attitudes and actions. They are the expectations that guide us to be the best we can be, both individually and as a community.
