Welcome to Prep C with Miss Williams!

What an amazing start to the year the Preps have had! The students have now had a wonderful 66 days in Prep and Mrs Dullard, Miss Williams, and Miss Williams could not be prouder of how they are representing Orchard Park Primary School. The students have been demonstrating the four values (safety, responsibility, resilience, and respect) during their learning as well as in the yard at recess and lunch. Along with the values, the students' approach to their learning has been nothing short of incredible. 

In literacy the students have enjoyed learning their letters and sounds whilst practicing the actions that represent the phonemes. This week we have been working on creating our very own book to be able to take home and read. The student’s have loved writing about themselves.

In numeracy we have been focusing on representing data in different ways. We looked at how many girls and boys we had in our class and showed this data through tally marking, and we also used a graph to represent the different foods in a fruit shop. 

We have loved seeing the students walk through the doors every morning so excited to be at school, and we look forward to watching them thrive even more throughout the year.
