International Student Program     

The International Student Program has warmly welcome two new members:  Daniil Lazariev and Nguyen Quoc Dan Dang during the school holidays. 

Daniil Lazariev  has commenced in GEC on 26th April; Nguyen Quoc Dan Dang arrived in Melbourne on 20th April and settled in his homestay in Carnegie.  Not even getting a time to adjust the Jet lag, Dan started to rearrange his life immediately on his arrival to Melbourne.  With the help of ISC, he purchased his first MYKI card, phone card, opened his bank account, purchasing uniform and essential goods to start off his new life in a brand-new country, not speaking his first language, in a stranger’s home away from home as a teenager.  He tried to get to know the way from homestay to the train station and from the station to his English Language Centre, which is located in Westall Secondary College (WSC).  

Dan has been very brave and independent. He started his first day in Westall Secondary College confidently and relaxed with a very positive feedback from the teachers in WSC. We wish Dan a delightful and fulfilling time in his language study and fully prepared to join GEC.
