Election Day

We had a fantastic day with the BBQ and Cake Stall for the Election last Saturday.

The sun was out and it was an absolutely beautiful day.  We had the BBQs running hot from 8am churning out egg & bacon rolls in the morning and sausages all day long for hungry voters looking for their democracy sausage.

Our cake stall was a hit and we sold out again but a wonderful on-the-day donation of artisan bread items from Baker Bleu kept us up and running.

A very special thank you to Zelda Zebra (aka Sally S) from Born in a Taxi who came along and provided some wonderful roving entertainment for the voters and kids!  

And finally, a huge thank you again to everyone who baked and provided goodies for our stall and to those who gave up their time on such a beautiful day to help out. You all worked so very hard and it was a massive effort.  The good news is that we made approximately $2,600.00 for our school!  We could not have done it without you!
