Vinnie’s Winter Appeal

“The society of St Vincent de Paul is an international voluntary organisation 

in the Catholic Church, founded in 1833 for the sanctification 

of its members by personal service of the poor… 

the Vinnie’s winter appeal aims to provide emergency relief 

to people at risk and experiencing homelessness,” 

(wikipedia.org).

As Catholic people we aim to follow in the footsteps of such saints as ‘St. Vincent De Paul’ who was canonised by the catholic church for preaching missions to the peasantry and for running charitable events to assist the poor.  This year, over a 4-week period, we ask for your assistance in the collection of various items that will be donated to assist the homeless and those less fortunate than we are. 

ALSO – Brother Doug from the Vinnie’s Appeal will be joining us on Friday 27th May, morning assembly to discuss the importance of this event with the children, staff and community. We hope you can make it to learn about HOW your generous donations will be passed on.

Lunch Order Day

This THURSDAY, children who have ordered will be receiving their sausage roll, sushi or cinnamon donut. Thank you for your ordering.

* Important information from the principal, deputy principal and P&F: Parents, please note that food order days are a P&F fundraising activity, and we work hard to ensure that you are given enough time to place an order for your children. We kindly ask that if you miss the cut-off date to place your child’s order that you DO NOT bring in any FAST FOOD. Instead, you could consider placing a ‘special lunch’ in your child’s lunchbox as an alternative. We thank-you for your understanding in this matter.

St. Fidelis Pizza/Pasta Night

*IMPORTANT- Apologies, tickets for the upcoming pizza/pasta night have been exhausted.  We kindly thank the families who have keenly purchased their tickets and we look forward to seeing you there! Sincere apologies to the families who missed out on tickets this year – this is an annual event, so we hope to see you there next year.

RAFFLE - St. Fidelis Pizza/Pasta Night 

To celebrate the coming together of Parish and School Community, the P&F are running a raffle, tickets @$1 each. Tickets will be sent home with the eldest child in each class. You may purchase as many tickets as you like. Please return tickets (and money) to the school office, no later than Friday 17th June, 9am. If you are NOT attending the Pizza/Pasta Night, you are still welcome to purchase tickets. Raffle will be drawn on the evening of the event and absent winners will be notified on Monday 19th June.

Family Portrait Photo Fundraising Shoot

Would you like to have some beautiful natural portraits taken of your family?  Lūce & Co Photography will be coming to our school and setting up for the day on Sunday 19th June, taking your choice of Studio or Outdoor Photography Sessions. Book your photo shoot today to create special memories and help raise funds for our school. Your booking will cost $21 and you will get a 20-minute photo shoot and your choice of an image to keep. You also have the option of buying more images/prints as a variety of packages are on offer. (From each booking at least $20 is raised directly for our school!)
