So far this term we have been investigating Sustainability. We have been focusing on the three R’s (Reducing, Reusing and Recycling). This has included a visit to the farm looking at the process of composting and how our ‘food scraps’ are recycled at school. 

A big thanks to Aaron Gionis who presented to all Year 1’s and discussed the science and benefits of composting. We also created some awesome projects while reusing packaging from used products.
